These statues look similar with the ones you would see in Bali. The only difference is that these ones are not wearing black & white checkered sarong. I’ve seen mansion houses in Jakarta have statues like these on the front gate as a symbol of guards. They do look mean! But I don’t know about those huge bellies on guards’ bodies

Merry Christmas! Selamat Natal!
So, what’s your tradition on a Christmas day?
Here’s a flower to keep your Sunday fresh! We call this Soka.
Though it’s not a snowy picture, I dedicate the red and green color for those who celebrate christmas! Enjoy the rest of your weekend and happy holiday, everyone!

Here you can get license plates, door signs, etc. The license plates are definitely not legalized by the police department, but some people do buy them here. There are even some government ones there (the colored plates on the bottom left)! Law is so very confusing here in my lovely country. It’s never just good vs bad or black vs white. It’s all sort of in gray area. How’s law in your country?

Mom, I love going to the beach…
I love playing with sand…
I love you, Mom.
It’s Mother’s Day here today.
Cheers to all mothers around the world!
